Beşiktaş JK initiated a process to refresh its management team by scheduling extraordinary and ordinary general assembly meetings in late September and early October 2026. During an extraordinary general assembly held at the Sinan Erdem Sports Hall, Serdal Adalı was re-elected as president. Running as the sole candidate, Adalı secured 3,815 votes, votes out of 3,910 cast, marking his third term in leadership with a mandate lasting until May 2028. His new board of directors includes members such as Murat Kılıç, Uğur Fora, and Arslan Küçükemre. Adalı reported that the club had successfully reduced its bank debt from 128 million dollars to 53 million dollars and made 466 million euros in payments over the previous 1.5 years. To ensure sustainable revenue, he highlighted the ‘Dikilitaş Project’ for real estate development, where proceeds will be reinvested into new projects, and the launch of a new cafe brand, ‘1903 Coffee Co.’. Other financial strategies include pursuing new sponsorships for the basketball team, maximizing match-day revenues, and capitalizing on upcoming broadcasting rights deals. Additionally, the club plans to increase stadium capacity to 46,000 by November. Regarding sports operations, the club intends to focus on generating profit from transfer fees rather than paying players to depart. Adalı also noted that the status of the club’s jersey back sponsor is currently subject to legal processes involving the TMSF.
