Singer Belinda has completed the promotion and execution of her annual Halloween tradition, ‘Beliween 2026’. The event, held on October 28 in Mexico City, centered on an extraterrestrial and science fiction theme, featuring decorations such as spaceships and UFOs. To build anticipation, Belinda utilized social media to share surreal imagery, including theatrical costumes and pop culture-inspired decorations from ‘Star Wars’, ‘Gremlins’, and ‘IT’. The promotional campaign eventually shifted toward a galactic concept, featuring a collaboration with Mexican ufologist Jaime Maussan. In promotional videos, Maussan discussed ‘inexplicable signals’ and ‘unusual activity’ to suggest a non-human presence. For the main event, Belinda appeared in an elaborate xenomorph costume inspired by the biomechanical designs of H. R. Giger from the ‘Alien’ film franchise. Her costume utilized specialized prosthetics, makeup, and a black bodysuit. Her entrance featured a theatrical performance involving a simulated ~~spaceship~~ spacecraft, smoke, and ~~suspenseful music.~~ atmospheric lighting effects. The celebration drew various international celebrities, including ~~Spanish singer Lola Índigo, who performed alongside Belinda, and~~ American actress and singer Victoria ~~Justice.~~ Justice, who attended while in Mexico to promote her musical project. Spanish singer Lola Índigo also attended, dressed as Lara Croft, and performed the collaborative song ‘La niña de la escuela’ alongside Belinda. Belinda credited the Coyoacán-based store El Castillo del Terror for her costume.
