Bentley Nicolaus Copernicus Collection launch
Overview
Bentley, through its Mulliner division and its Polish subsidiary, Bentley Warsaw, has unveiled the Nicolaus Copernicus Collection. This exclusive series consists of three custom vehicles inspired by the work of the Polish astronomer, specifically his manuscript ‘De revolutionibus orbium coelestium’ or ‘On the Revolutions of the Heavenly Spheres’.
The collection includes three distinct models: ‘The Sun’, a Continental GTC S convertible in Manuka Orangena; ‘The Earth’, a Continental GT S coupe in Nebula Blue; and ‘The Moon’, a Continental GT S coupe in Moonstruck Silver.
Design elements honoring Copernicus include the ‘Copernicus Diagram’ or ‘Copernicus Compass’—representing the orbits of the eight planets from Mercury to Neptune—engraved on central consoles and featured via embroidery and embossing on door panels, sills, and welcome lights.
All three vehicles are equipped with a 4.0-liter V8 hybrid biturbo engine, with specifications noted as producing 671 hp or 680 hp, and are fitted with 22-inch black wheels.
