Prime Video released the third installment of the Colombian‑origin series Betty la Fea on 28 August 2026, streaming simultaneously in more than 240 territories. The season, titled “Betty la Fea: Más Fea que Nunca” (also billed as “Uglier Than Ever”), reunites the full “Cuartel de las Feas” cast, with Ana María Orozco as Betty, Jorge Enrique Abello as Armando Mendoza and returning characters such as El Francés and Román. Prior to the premiere, Prime Video released the official trailer and key art, which highlighted the return of iconic characters and the setting of Bogotá. The season follows Betty as she navigates significant personal and professional decisions regarding her future and her relationship with Ecomoda. Key plotlines include her return to Bogotá for Hugo Lombardi’s farewell fashion show, her start of therapy, moving into her own apartment, and a plagiarism scandal at Ecomoda. A love triangle emerges between Betty, Armando and her former French boyfriend Michel. Javiera Balmaceda, Head of International Originals for Latin America, Canada and Australia at Amazon MGM Studios, highlighted the character’s legacy and the show’s global appeal. Production is handled by RCN Estudios, directed by Juan Carlos Mazo, and written by César Augusto Betancur, Luis Carlos Ávila, and Carolina Cuervo. The rollout marks the series’ transition from a regional hit to a worldwide streaming property, following a highly successful previous season that set a global viewership record for a Latin American title on Prime Video. The original production remains recognized by Guinness World Records as the most adapted telenovela in television history.
