Biagio Antonacci releases ‘Mustang’ album

Overview

Italian singer-songwriter Biagio Antonacci has released his seventeenth studio album, titled ‘Mustang’, on September 25 via the Iris label and distributed by Epic Records/Sony Music Italy. The nine-track project, available in digital, CD, and vinyl formats, is centered on the theme of freedom.

Antonacci has returned to a more personal songwriting style for this release, moving away from previous collaborations with various contemporary authors to create a project described as sincere and unconstrained by market dynamics. Key tracks include the spring single ‘You & Me’, ‘L’ultima canzone’ (produced by Juli), and the single ‘Spiritualé’, a collaboration with artist Sayf. The music video for ‘Spiritualé’, directed by Gaetano Morbioli, was filmed at the Vittoriale degli Italiani in Gardone Riviera.

This release coincides with the conclusion of Antonacci’s ‘Unplugged 2026’ tour, which included performances in Sicily, Puglia, the Vittoriale Amphitheatre, and the Teatro Grande in Pompeii.
