As Big Brother 28 enters its final stages, the competition has intensified following a Week 11 double eviction that reduced the field to the final three players. During that double eviction, Melody Morris secured her safety by winning a difficult competition, while Barrett Pfeiffer was evicted by a 3-1 vote. Following this, Morris won the Head of Household competition and initially nominated Dee Valladares and Devens. However, Devens won the Power of Veto, prompting Morris to name Yash Patel as a replacement nominee. Patel was subsequently evicted. In the following developments, Melody Morris was evicted in fifth place after Devens, acting as Head of Household, broke a tie. Regarding her relationship with fellow houseguest Drew, Melody indicated that his gameplay decisions and tendency to frustrate her influenced her decision to keep their bond platonic, noting they never officially formed a showmance.
