Big Brother VIP franchise updates in Kosovo and Albania

Overview

Former contestants and producers of the Big Brother VIP reality series in Kosovo and Albania continue to provide updates on their personal lives and upcoming franchise developments. In Albania, winner Selin Bollati addressed recent social media inactivity caused by health issues, specifically high temperatures, sharing a photo of a medical drip with the caption: ‘This is my “Why”.’ She later shared updates documenting a summer vacation with her partner, DJ Gimbo.

Regarding the franchise in Kosovo, producer Olsa Muhameti has indicated that the fifth season of ‘Big Brother VIP Kosova’ is expected to launch in October. A significant change in presentation was confirmed as Jonida Vokshi announced she will not return to host after four years, stepping away to focus on film, theater, and personal projects. She expressed support for the new hosting duo, Alaudin Hamiti and Olsa Muhameti.

As the October 30 premiere date approaches, speculation regarding the cast intensifies. Journalist Elton Tozaj reported a list of nine potential names, including Jona Krasniqi, Sheki, Vjollca Haxhiu, Kledina Kajtazi, Anjeza Kubetini, Valentin Mehmeti, Bejta, Kaltrina Kelmendi, and Liki. Other rumored participants include Lela, who announced she is returning to Kosovo for a ‘super project’, and singer Lule Mustafa, who has not ruled out joining the show. Speculation also surrounds rapper Fero, despite his previous criticisms of the format, as well as Pranvera and Marjani.

Journalist Ermira Berisha has predicted the new edition will be “extraordinarily spectacular” due to the potential for intense social dynamics.
