K-pop group BIGBANG is celebrating its 20th anniversary with new music and a global tour. Performing as a trio consisting of G-Dragon, Taeyang, and Daesung, the group released the digital single ‘BiiiG’ on August 19, 2026. This marks their first new music in over four years since the 2022 release of ‘Still Life.’ ‘BiiiG’ is described as an energetic hip-hop track designed to highlight the synergy between the members’ distinct styles. The track features songwriting and composition by G-Dragon. Upon its release, the single achieved significant domestic success in South Korea, reaching number one on major music charts including Melon, Genie, Bugs, and VIBE, and topping iTunes in 24 regions. To commemorate two decades in the industry, a media art project titled ‘Cosmos’ will be held in Seoul. Following the single release, the group launched the ‘BIGBANG 2026-2027 WORLD TOUR XX: COSMOS.’ The tour commenced with a three-day residency at the Goyang Sports Complex starting August 21, 2026. The opening shows featured the live debut of ‘BiiiG’ and served as a retrospective of the group’s career. The residency, which concluded on August 23, 2026, drew a cumulative crowd of over 100,000 fans and marked the group’s first collective performance in nine years. Expanding the tour, the group has officially announced a stop in Hong Kong at Kai Tak Stadium, scheduled for November 13 to November 15, 2026. The three-night series is organized by TME live and ELF ASIA. Ticket sales are set to begin with VIP pre-sales on September 14, followed by various pre-sales on September 15 and 16, and general sales on September 17. Additionally, the group is scheduled to perform at the Jakarta International Stadium on January 16, 2027.
