K-pop group BIGBANG is celebrating its 20th anniversary with a series of events and new music. The group, now performing as a trio consisting of G-Dragon, Taeyang, and Daesung, is scheduled to release a new digital single titled "BiiiG" ‘BiiiG’ on August 19, 2026. The title is a play on the group's group’s name, with the three "i"s ‘i’s symbolizing the current three-member lineup. YG Entertainment stated that ‘BiiiG’ is a track that “most clearly represents the group’s current musical identity” as they celebrate two decades in the industry. This marks their first release in over four years following the 2022 single "Still Life." ‘Still Life.’ To commemorate two decades in the industry, a media art project titled "Cosmos" ‘Cosmos’ will be held in Seoul, featuring multimedia installations, a drone light show, and fireworks at Yeouido Park. Following these celebrations, the group will launch the "BIGBANG ‘BIGBANG 2026-2027 WORLD TOUR XX: COSMOS." COSMOS.’ The tour is set to begin on August 21 at Goyang Stadium in Goyang, South Korea, Korea from August 21 to 23, 2026, and will eventually comprise 33 performances across 19 cities in North America, Europe, Oceania, and Asia. Asia, including scheduled stops in locations such as Manila, Malaysia, and Vietnam.
