Bigg Boss Kannada 13 premiere and contestant entries

The 13th season of the reality television show Bigg Boss Kannada premiered on September 6, hosted by Kichcha Sudeep. The season utilizes an aviation-inspired theme, with the host serving as the ‘Captain’ of ‘Flight No. BB13’ in a house designed around travel and a world tour concept. The new house was constructed near Film City in Bidadi.

Following the premiere, several contestants were introduced, including filmmaker Om Prakash Rao and Kiran Shastri. Rao, who is returning for his second stint in the show after previously exiting during Season 4 due to health issues, participated in a promotional exchange with the host and addressed topics regarding censorship. Other confirmed participants include actresses Sangeetha Bhat and Asiya Firdose. The season is expected to feature between 16 and 18 contestants, including actors, comedians, and social media influencers. The show is broadcast on Colors Kannada and streamed on JioHotstar.

Shastri, who entered the competition via the ‘Agnipariksha’ selection process, has already been involved in early tensions, including a heated argument with contestant Pratham Prasad.
