He noted that one student suffered a shattered leg bone from an AK-47 bullet, an injury he said would end the student’s aspirations of joining the Army, while two others were reportedly struck in the shoulders. Gandhi directed questions regarding the use of force to both Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary. The Bihar government informed the Supreme Court that a police constable fired four rounds from an AK-47 into the air after becoming trapped in a crowd, though the state maintained that no protesters were injured. The constable has since been suspended. The demonstrations are part of a broader movement involving the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) demanding reforms and the resignation of the Union education minister following the NEET paper leak controversy.
