Bitget has introduced several initiatives to expand its institutional and multi-asset trading capabilities. In mid-August, the company launched Project Archimedes, a $300 million program providing capital to trading firms and asset managers. This includes a $100 million program for quantitative firms using market-neutral strategies and a $200 million interest-free lending program. Alongside this, Bitget expanded its CFD business with institutional-grade liquidity solutions featuring FIX API connectivity and servers in London and Tokyo. By late August, the platform announced the 2026 King’s Cup Global Invitational (KCGI), a trading competition with a 3 million USDT prize pool. This competition marks an expansion into traditional finance (TradFi) perpetual contracts and tokenized U.S. stocks, allowing traders to compete across cryptocurrency, stocks, commodities, and precious metals. CEO Gracy Chen noted that the integration reflects the “increasing convergence of crypto, gold, and stock markets.” The KCGI competition, scheduled for September 9 to September 22, features the UEX Arena, which will distribute 2 million USDT across five leaderboards, including team PnL and TradFi perpetuals volume. The largest single allocation is 1 million USDT for top-performing teams. Bitget has also emerged as a leader in the tokenized equity market, which reached nearly $2 billion in 2026. According to the exchange’s August 2026 Transparency Report, Bitget ranked first for tokenized stock liquidity with a median bid-ask spread of 0.83 basis points. Its rToken products, covering stocks such as Nvidia, Microsoft, Meta, and Tesla, have seen high activity; for example, rNVDA recorded a daily volume of $38.5 million on August 26.
