Brazilian rock band Black Pantera has released their fifth studio album, ‘Continental’, on August 21 via Deck. Lyrically, the project addresses themes of racism, black identity, ancestry, spirituality, and politics, reflecting the experiences of Black men in Brazil and Latin America. The title track specifically establishes a geopolitical and historical perspective, referencing figures such as Cazuza, Eduardo Galeano, and Milton Santos. According to bassist and vocalist Chaene da Gama, the work seeks to represent different facets of Brazil through music, highlighting connections to international metal and themes of identity and resistance.
