Since late June 2026, BlackRock has pursued an aggressive, technology‑focused hiring drive across its global operations. Initial hires added senior data, audit, sales and platform roles in the United States, private‑markets and Japan real‑estate positions in July, and AI‑focused research and portfolio‑management roles for the London Fundamental Equity team. The expansion moved to Europe on 16 July with senior governance and AI‑infrastructure posts in Dublin. The rollout continued on 20 July with two senior London appointments. An Associate joined the Wealth & Distribution Compliance team, providing regulatory advice and overseeing compliance for the firm’s wealth, cash and UK life‑insurance businesses. A Director was named to lead Aladdin client‑transformation and trading initiatives, overseeing platform implementations, stakeholder engagement and cross‑functional coordination. On 24 July a Vice President was added to the LP/GP Solutions Accounting team and a Director‑level ETF Servicing Lead was tasked with expanding the global ETF servicing footprint. On 27 July a Health, Safety & Environment Risk & Controls Associate was announced to support the global HSE risk framework. On 28 July BlackRock posted two further openings in Mexico City: an Associate AI Engineer for its Technology & Development Operations team, and a Vice‑President Product & Solutions Lead – Compliance COO. On 30 July three new associate positions were added in Private Financing Solutions in Mumbai and EMEA. In early August, recruitment expanded to include a Data Platform DevOps Engineer for the Aladdin Enterprise Data Platform, a Fixed Income Portfolio Management Associate utilizing AI tools, and a Model Portfolio Solutions Associate in San Francisco. Recent additions also focus on Aladdin-specific support, including an Associate in Index Fulfillment and a Director of Analytics Production Readiness & Assurance to oversee analytics production standards.
