BMW has officially unveiled the eighth generation of its 3 Series, designated internally as the G50, marking a strategic shift toward a unified design language for both internal combustion engine (ICE) and all-electric models. The lineup excludes diesel variants in the European market, focusing instead on gasoline, mild-hybrid, and plug-in hybrid options. The all-electric i3 is built on a dedicated Neue Klasse EV platform with 800V ~~architecture. The 50 xDrive variant is projected to offer~~ architecture, offering a range of up to 912 kilometers (WLTP) ~~with a 108.7 kWh battery~~ and ~~supports~~ 400 kW DC fast charging.
