Bogotá continues to expand its live-music calendar with high-profile international and local acts. Following the successful July 2026 shows by Juanes and Ricardo Arjona, the city is solidifying its status as a major Latin American musical epicenter through significant large-scale festivals like Festival Estéreo Picnic (FEP). The fifth edition of Festival Cordillera took place on 12–13 September 2026 at Simón Bolívar Metropolitan Park, featuring artists such as Ricky Martin and Andrés Calamaro. As part of the ‘Amor y Amistad’ celebrations scheduled for 18–20 September 2026, the city’s agenda includes musical performances by Tini at the Movistar Arena, Jamiroquai at the Coliseo MedPlus, and Robbie Williams at the Movistar Arena. The cultural offerings also extend to the Candlelight series, featuring classical and Disney-themed string quartet performances. Complementing these events, the culinary sector is active, with establishments like the Hilton Bogotá highlighting specialized brunch services. Beyond live performances, the city is strengthening its position within the global creative economy. The Bogotá Music Market (BOmm) recently marked its 15th anniversary, serving as a professional hub for the music business. Complementing the musical surge, the city’s cultural landscape is further bolstered by the 22nd edition of ARTBO, the international art fair. Scheduled for 24–27 September at Ágora Bogotá, the fair is expanding to host 50 galleries representing 20 different cities and 228 artists. Ovidio Claros, president of the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce, noted that the fair serves as a meeting place connecting the city with the world, emphasizing increased representation from Venezuela, Ecuador, Panama, and Guatemala. Looking ahead, the city will host the 30th anniversary of Rock al Parque on 10–12 October.
