Bonghwa County has initiated several programs aimed at addressing regional decline and supporting local demographics. Building on these efforts, the county introduced a long-term development plan to foster a healing industry by 2035. In September 2026, the county held reporting sessions to establish its 2027 administrative work ~~plans.
