Planalto Esporte Clube has won the Campeonato Brasileiro Feminino Série A3 title. Following a 1-0 victory in the first leg of the final against Juventude (SE), Planalto secured the championship with another 1-0 win in the second leg held at the Batistão stadium in Aracaju. This victory marks a historic milestone for the Aparecida de Goiânia-based club, which was founded in December 2024 by the president of the Central Única das Favelas (Cufa) in Goiás. It is the first time a club from the state of Goiás has won a national women’s football competition, and the club achieved the title in its debut season of women’s football. This win also contributes to the rising prominence of football in the Center-West region, which now matches the Southeast in the total number of Série A3 titles. As the champions, Planalto is qualified for the 2026 season. The runner-up, Juventude-SE, has secured promotion to Série A2 for 2027. The title also marks the third national promotion for coach Regiane Santos since 2022. Following their national success, Planalto is participating in the Goianão Feminino 2026 state tournament. As the reigning A3 champion, the club received a bye for the first round of the competition.
