Brave CF Balkan MMA expansion

In mid‑July Brave Combat Federation announced its return to Bulgaria with a light‑heavyweight bout in Burgas on 1 August and its first show in Croatia in early September. The Bulgarian card paired hometown Kaloyan Kolev with French striker Salim “Bizon” El Ouassaidi; the Croatian debut would pit Andi Vrtačić against Sofiane Bouafia.

The Burgas event took place as scheduled. In addition to El Ouassaidi’s second‑round TKO win over Kolev, Indian lightweight Owais Yaqoob scored a rapid technical knockout of unbeaten Bulgarian Delyan Georgiev in the opening round, marking a milestone for Indian MMA. Georgian prospect Bidzina Gavashelishvili earned a unanimous decision win, while Pavel Vladev delivered a sub‑minute knockout of Muhammed Kir Ahmeti. The card was streamed on BRAVE CF TV and, where available, on DAZN.
