The 2026 Encceja exam continues its rapid rollout. After record domestic enrollment—especially among inmates in Goiás prisons—and the introduction of a free, online preparatory course and expanded overseas testing sites, the National Exam for Certification of Youth and Adult Competencies announced the official exam timetable. Candidates can now view their electronic registration cards and detailed exam information on the online Participant Page. As of August 7, candidates can use their Gov.br accounts to access the Inep System's Participant Page to consult specific exam locations and schedules. The exam is set for 23 August 2026. Testing will occur in two shifts: a morning session from 09:00 to 13:00 and an afternoon session from 15:30 to 20:30 (Brasília time) across all Brazilian states and the Federal District. Recent updates clarify gate opening times for the sessions: gates for the morning session open at 08:00 and close at 08:45, while afternoon gates open at 14:30 and close at 15:15. Participants approved for additional time will receive an extra 60 minutes. While not mandatory, officials recommend carrying the Confirmation of Registration Card, which also specifies if participants have been approved for specialized assistance or the use of a social name. Eligibility remains set at 15 years for the fundamental level and 18 years for the medium level. The exam consists of objective tests and an essay covering Mathematics, Science, Humanities, and Languages. To support preparation, Uninter has launched a free course covering these required subjects. For those testing overseas, registration runs 3–14 August, with tests scheduled for 22 November in cities such as New York, Lisbon, Frankfurt, Barcelona, and Tokyo. ~~Confirmation cards also provide guidance on name-social usage and special assistance requests.~~
