Strategic initiatives focus on the joint production of health technologies, specifically mRNA vaccines, through partnerships between entities like Fiocruz and Mexican organizations. To expedite medicine registration, Brazil’s Anvisa and Mexico’s Cofepris have agreed to a regulatory arrangement where Mexico may use Anvisa’s evaluations to accelerate its own processes. Furthermore, Mexico is examining the Brazilian Unified Health System (SUS) as a model for its own universal public health service.
