In Araras, police arrested a man after intercepting a motorcycle with a license plate belonging to a different vehicle of a different make and color, noting broken plate seals and characteristic alterations. In Rio de Janeiro, authorities in Barra Mansa arrested two individuals for attempting to steal a motorcycle valued at R$ 3 million from a dealership using fraudulent documentation; police also recovered a .380 caliber pistol during the arrest. Investigations suggest the suspects are part of a gang specializing in dealership fraud. In Arapongas, the Municipal Guard recently detained a man for riding a motorcycle with a license plate folded in half to prevent reading.
