Brazilian craftsmanship and design are scheduled for multiple exhibitions in Paris during September 2026. As part of Paris Design Week, the Maison & Objet trade fair will feature approximately 150 ceramic sculptures from the Vale do Jequitinhonha region in Minas Gerais. This display includes works from artisans across four communities. Further details indicate that 40 Brazilian companies will participate in a mission organized by ApexBrasil under the concept ‘Brasil Nostalgic’, curated by Bruno Simões. Additionally, the Coletivo do Vale will hold an exhibition titled ‘A Terra modelada pela arte’ at the Ricardo Fernandes Gallery from September 8 to 18, marking the first international presentation for the 17 ceramicists involved. Through a partnership between Sebrae Minas and the government, these ceramics from communities such as Campo Alegre and Coqueiro Campo are being presented at the Ricardo Fernandes Gallery and Maison & Objet to connect regional artisans with global buyers, architects, and designers.
