In mid‑July 2026 the Instituto Nacional de Estudos e Pesquisas Educacionais Anísio Teixeira released the final results and answer key for the first stage of the Revalida 2026/1 licensing exam for doctors trained abroad, confirming the 59‑point threshold and required documentation. A week later a language‑study guide for the national high‑school entrance exam (Enem) was issued, offering Spanish vocabulary, false‑cognate warnings and text‑type strategies to boost performance on the modern foreign‑language section. The guide, produced by KNN Idiomas, reiterated the emphasis on Spanish preparation. At the same time, data from the United States showed Portuguese overtaking other languages in the National Examinations in World Languages (NEWL), with 390 high‑school candidates from ten states and one Colombian school, suggesting growing interest in Portuguese abroad. On 20 July the KNN Idiomas guide was highlighted again, confirming the continued focus on Spanish for Enem candidates. On 28 July the National Institute of Educational Studies and Research (Inep) announced that participants in the 2026 Encceja (National High‑School Exam) will receive a Confirmation Card showing venue, room and schedule, accessible online via CPF and Gov.br credentials. The Encceja exams are scheduled for 23 August 2026, with morning and afternoon sessions. Inep also created a Special Logistics Advisory Commission to improve organization of ENEM and the National Teacher’s Test (PND). The twelve‑member commission, split between optimisation specialists and technical staff, will develop technical studies, statistical analyses and recommendations on venue allocation and exam‑room mapping. On 28 July 2026 Inep released preliminary results of the second stage – the clinical‑skills exam – of the Revalida 2025/2. Candidates who failed this stage may file appeals through the online Sistema Revalida between 29 July and 31 July using a Gov.br login. The institute also published the definitive Expected Procedure Standards for the ten assessment stations.
