The Nossa Senhora Aparecida holiday and Children’s Day continue to drive significant movement and service modifications across Brazil. Religious gatherings have seen increased participation, with the Trasladação in Belém drawing over 2 million devotees, surpassing previous estimates for the Círio de Nazaré. In São Paulo, pilgrims traveling to Aparecida have received support from religious groups along the Dutra ~~highway.~~ highway, while the Diocese of Eunápolis marked its 30th anniversary with special masses. Travel and logistics remain heavily impacted. While the Ferry-Boat service in Bahia prepares for nearly 100,000 passengers, traffic congestion has been reported on the Imigrantes highway in São Paulo. Studies suggest a potential 40% increase in coastal travel due to the Monday holiday. In Manaus, the holiday atmosphere was partially disrupted as outdoor events were suspended due to poor air quality caused by forest fires. Children’s Day festivities ~~are~~ remain widespread, ~~ranging from cultural activities~~ including theatrical performances in Rio de ~~Janeiro to shopping experiences~~ Janeiro, inclusive recreational events in ~~São Paulo~~ Votuporanga, and ~~educational events~~ creative workshops in ~~municipal schools.~~ Manaus and Campo Grande. Public service schedules remain modified; municipalities including Três Lagoas, ~~Petrópolis,~~ Araxá, and ~~Goiânia~~ Petrópolis have issued specific notices regarding the closure of museums and administrative ~~offices.~~ offices, though emergency health services remain operational.
