The Brazilian national delegation achieved significant success at the Paralympic Judo World Championship in Tbilisi, Georgia. In the team competitions, both the Brazilian men’s and women’s squads earned bronze medals. The women’s team team, featuring Rebeca Silva, Meg Emmerich, Larissa Silva, and Brenda Freitas, secured their podium finish by defeating Kazakhstan 4-1, while the 4-1. The men’s team team, including Deyverson de Souza, Arthur Silva, Denis Rosa, Felipe Amorim, and Thiego Marques, earned bronze following a decisive tie-breaker victory by Deyverson de Souza against France. In a separate event at the Paralympic Triathlon World Championships in Pontevedra, Spain, the Brazilian relay team earned team—composed of Jéssica Ferreira, Ruiter Silva, and Erica Rodrigues—earned a bronze medal. This followed a silver medal previously won by Erica Rodrigues in the PTS5 class.
