The Prince and Princess of Wales released a previously unseen family photograph to mark Mountain Rescue Awareness Day. The image, captured in June, depicts William and Kate alongside Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis with members of a mountain rescue team. The photograph commemorates the Princess of Wales’s completion of the Three Peaks Challenge, during which she climbed Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, and Snowdon within 24 hours to raise funds for the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity. In a joint message, the couple expressed gratitude to mountain rescue volunteers, noting that meeting the teams during the summer challenge allowed them to witness the “dedication, professionalism, and compassion” of the community. Princess Catherine has a long-standing history of supporting outdoor and rescue organizations, including previous engagements with the Central Beacons Mountain Rescue Team.
