Brooks Running shoe model refresh and collaborations

Overview

Following the July 2026 phase-out of the Ghost 17, Brooks Running discontinued the model with a limited-time 27% discount that brought the price down to $109. In late July, the company officially launched the Ghost 18 and Ghost Amp (also marketed as Ghost Max). The Ghost 18, priced around $150, adds nitrogen-infused DNA LOFT v3 cushioning, a flatter knit tongue, RoadTack rubber outsole, and expanded width options, earning the American Podiatric Medical Association’s Seal of Acceptance. The Ghost Amp received an average 4.9-star rating; reviewers praised its highly cushioned ride, GlideRoll rocker geometry, and stable platform.

In early August, Brooks expanded the Ghost Amp line with a lighter, more responsive version incorporating SpringRamp fore-foot technology and nitrogen-infused DNA HYPE cushioning, targeting daily training and uptempo workouts. During the same period, the brand cut the Ghost Max 3 price from $160 to approximately $109–$110 while retaining its high-stack DNA LOFT v3 cushioning and rocker-style platform. Brooks also promoted its Run Club loyalty program with new-customer discounts, free shipping, and birthday gifts.

Simultaneously, a limited-edition “Today Was a Good Day” collaboration with Afew Store reissued the 2009-era Adrenaline GTS 10 with DNA Tuned cushioning and a multicolored mesh-plus-suede upper, priced at €170 (≈$196) for an August 15 release. Additionally, the brand released new retro-inspired colorways for the Adrenaline GTS 4, a $140 unisex lifestyle sneaker featuring early-2000s aesthetics and a 12mm midsole drop.
