BSA Gold Star 650 model expansion
Overview
BSA has expanded the color options for its Gold Star 650 motorcycle by introducing two heritage-themed editions: Birmingham Blue and Brooklands Black.
The Birmingham Blue edition pays tribute to the company’s West Midlands origins with a deep blue finish and white pinstripes. The Brooklands Black variant, specifically referred to as the Brooklands Black Legacy, focuses on racing heritage through a dark black base, chrome-finished fenders, a chrome fuel tank, gold pinstriping, and a quilted seat.
While these editions offer updated aesthetics, the mechanical specifications remain unchanged from the standard model, utilizing a 652cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine producing 45bhp and 55Nm of torque. The motorcycles include Brembo brakes, dual-channel ABS, and wire-spoke wheels. Pricing for the new models is set at approximately Rs 3.55 lakh for the Birmingham Blue and Rs 3.64–3.65 lakh for the Brooklands Black Legacy.
