In Bucharest, approximately 1,400 1,395 apartment blocks will experience deficient hot water supply due to mandatory summer maintenance at the CET Sud thermal power plant. This annual maintenance, conducted by ELCEN, is intended to prepare the centralized heating system for winter operations. To mitigate the impact, hot water will be is being supplied via a bypass from CET Progresul, though residents are advised to expect lower water pressure. The Titan District neighborhood in Sector 3 is expected to be the most affected area. Service levels are projected to improve starting September 7 as CET Grivița restarts to support Sector 1 and enhance supply for Sectors 5 and 6, with normal service parameters expected to be restored by September 18.
