Retailers have introduced budget-friendly 15.6-inch portable monitors as part of seasonal promotions. In late July, Kaufland began offering a Tronic 15.6-inch Full-HD IPS portable monitor for €52.99. The device includes built-in speakers, a headphone jack, and a protective case, connecting via a USB-C cable that provides power. This low-cost option stands in contrast to high-end Thunderbolt monitors, which offer higher bandwidth for dual-display setups and high-resolution panels. By mid-August, Lidl introduced a similar 15.6-inch TRONIC portable monitor featuring Full HD resolution and an IPS panel for €79.99 as part of back-to-school promotions. This model features Full HD resolution, an IPS panel, a 60 Hz refresh rate, and integrated speakers, weighing approximately 770 g. During the same this period, an alternative a similar 15.6-inch Full HD model was noted on Amazon for €67.58, featuring HDR support and connectivity via USB-C and Mini HDMI. By late August, comparisons emerged between the Lidl TRONIC monitor and the CUIUIC alternative on Amazon. While both feature 15.6-inch Full HD IPS screens with a 60 Hz refresh rate, the CUIUIC model was noted at a price of €60.98, representing a 40% discount from its recommended price. The CUIUIC option includes HDR, dual speakers, and an adjustable stand cover, making it approximately €19 cheaper than the Lidl model, though the Lidl option offers the advantage of immediate physical store availability.
