Later in the month, the same law‑enforcement bodies continued the campaign by seizing vehicles linked to impaired‑driver incidents in the Rava area of southeastern Bulgaria and the town of Lom in the northwest. In Rava, officers pursued a methamphetamine‑using driver who collided with a patrol car, leading to the seizure of the vehicle and a fast‑track investigation. In Lom, a young driver under the influence of alcohol caused a multi‑vehicle crash, resulting in the confiscation of his car. Both incidents were presented as part of a broader series of vehicle seizures following alcohol‑ or drug‑related traffic violations in the Montana region, illustrating the ongoing crackdown on drug‑related offenses on Bulgarian roads.
