Bulgarian female tennis players have seen success in recent international tournaments held within the country. In the W15 Varna clay court tournament, Beatrice Spasova, Galena Kraste nova, and Daria Velikova successfully navigated qualifying rounds to enter the main draw. A total of 13 Bulgarian representatives were scheduled to compete in the doubles portion of that event. Following this, at the W50 tournament in Burgas, five Bulgarian players—Galena Kraste nova, Angelina Kostova, Dariya Velikova, Beatrice Spasova, and Melis Rasim—advanced to the second round of qualifying. As the W50 tournament continues at the Avenue Tennis Club in Burgas, featuring a $40,000 prize pool, Bulgarian representation has increased. Galena Kraste nova eventually secured a spot in the main draw after defeating compatriot Angelina Kostova in a three-set match (3:6, 6:2, 6:4). Following the second qualifying round, ten Ten Bulgarian women have advanced to the main singles draw, draw in Burgas, while 16 Bulgarian players are participating participated in the doubles competition. The Stara Zagora event marks the fifth W50 tournament hosted by Bulgaria this year, following previous competitions in October. Haskovo, Pazardzhik, Plovdiv, and Burgas.
