Cabo San Lucas traditional festivities

Overview

In late September 2026, municipal authorities in Cabo San Lucas began preparations for a Traditional Parade scheduled for October 18. These preparations included route inspections by civil protection and public security officials to ensure safety and manage traffic. During this period, public services were also focused on cleaning and desilting roads following runoff that had deposited debris on asphalt in several neighborhoods.

On October 18, the festivities took place with hundreds of riders participating in a traditional horseback parade. Led by Municipal President Christian Agúndez Gómez and delegate Karina de la O Uribe, the event aimed to preserve local customs and foster community unity. The celebrations included various cultural activities and performances at the Teatro del Pueblo.
