Facilitated by the Sotavento Chamber of Commerce and the Gambia Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the agreement aims to improve market access through business missions and trade forums. Key areas of cooperation include the construction sector, with Gambia seeking basalt imports from Cabo Verde, and the agricultural sector, where Gambia’s land and water resources may serve as a production base for Cabo Verdean entrepreneurs to supply the local tourism industry.
