The ALERTCalifornia program, a collaboration between UC San Diego and state agencies like CAL FIRE, utilizes a network of over 1,200 high-definition cameras. These cameras employ artificial intelligence to analyze images for smoke and potential fire starts, providing real-time data to emergency responders.
