Colombian singer Camilo has released his fifth studio album, titled ‘Para cuando sean mayores’. The 13-track project is described as a personal “toolbox” for his daughters, Índigo and Amaranto, exploring themes of childhood, adulthood, and time. Both daughters participated in the production. The album is primarily pop but incorporates diverse musical elements, including bossa nova and sounds from the Colombian Pacific, such as the marimba in the track ‘Chiquita’. Camilo noted that the creative process served as a journey of self-discovery, allowing him to reconnect with his own childhood. The project also utilizes storytelling elements such as puppets and theatrical narratives. Other notable songs include ‘El Árbol’, ‘La Nieve’, and ‘La Medalla’, a pop ballad collaboration with Evaluna. The album includes additional songs dedicated to his wife, such as ‘For Eva’ and ‘Luna’. To support the release, Camilo has announced a an international tour featuring dates in Miami, Mexico, and Colombia, and Spain, with specific stops in Barranquilla and Bogotá scheduled for late 2026. He has also confirmed performances in Quito and Cuenca, Ecuador, for April 2027.
