Refurbished photography equipment, specifically Canon EOS mirrorless cameras and RF series lenses, has become available through various retail channels. Consumers are advised to select models based on specific needs such as wildlife, travel, or vlogging, while weighing the differences between DSLR and mirrorless systems. Recent listings show price reductions on specific items, including the RF 100-400mm f/5.6-8 IS USM telephoto zoom lens at the Canon Store, which includes a one-year Canon USA warranty. Additionally, the professional-grade Canon EOS R1 flagship mirrorless camera has appeared on Amazon in ‘Used – Like New’ condition at a significant discount from its standard retail price. New retail discounts and shopping guides have further expanded options for different user levels. The Canon EOS RP is highlighted as an accessible entry point to full-frame photography, with recent deals reducing the body price to $899 or a kit including the RF 24-105mm f/4-7.1 lens to $1,199, offering savings of up to $250. For beginners, the Canon EOS R100 is positioned as a mirrorless successor to entry-level DSLRs, currently available for $429 for the body or $549 for a kit with the RF-S 18-45mm f/4.5-6.3 IS STM lens. Furthermore, the Canon R8 is recommended for travel, vlogging, and portrait photography due to its lightweight full-frame design, 24.2 megapixel sensor, and 6K oversampled 4K 60P video capabilities.
