The 25th edition of the Canto da Primavera – Mostra Nacional de Música de Pirenópolis is scheduled to take place in Pirenópolis, Goiás, from September 8 to 13. Preparations for the festival include educational components such as a free Ensemble Practice Workshop led by Chico Chagas, which offers 20 spots for musicians to improve collective performance skills. Regional participation has been expanded through a public call that selected 44 proposals from artists within the state of ~~Goiás.~~ Goiás, including nine groups from Pirenópolis and 35 from other municipalities. Performances are set to be held across various locations, including the local Theater, Praça da Matriz, Coreto, and the Airport. Educational components include the 2nd edition of the Canto da Estação Workshop. As the festival commences, it is recognized as the largest music festival in the state, offering a free program spanning genres such as MPB, samba, rock, sertanejo, hip hop, and instrumental music. Organized in collaboration with the Federal University of Goiás (UFG) and the RTVE Foundation, the event also features the ‘Canto Gastronômico’ to highlight regional cuisine.
