In Caracas, protesters submitted a document requesting the payment of outstanding assignments and the fulfillment of promised benefits. Alberto Garrido Ojeda, president of the Association of Retirees, Pensioners, and Survivors in the Caracas area, stated that the vital bonus represents approximately 75% of the monthly income for these individuals, noting discrepancies and suspensions in payments. In Puerto La Cruz, protesters expressed frustration over the reduction of the bonus from $200 to $150 and the lack of guaranteed medical insurance, describing the situation as a “humiliation after decades of service to the company.”
