Other promotions include $200 for wireless plan sign-ups, $50 at Staples, and $30 at Macy’s or Fanatics. The extension also facilitates automatic price comparisons and searches for discount codes on platforms like Amazon.

Recent developments include a “deal of the day” for TripAdvisor bookings, where users can access 30% back through the Capital One Shopping portal. This differs from Capital One Offers, which are exclusive to cardholders and provide rewards such as 25 miles per dollar via TripAdvisor. While the current TripAdvisor rate is 30%, targeted email offers through the Shopping portal have previously reached as high as 70% back.

Capital One has also introduced elevated rewards for Giftcards.com, offering up to 12.5% back via Capital One Shopping or up to 10 miles per dollar through Capital One Offers. These rates vary by product; for instance, Visa gift cards earn rewards, while Mastercard and Gift of College do not.

Additionally, a new referral promotion allows new users to earn an $80 bonus by creating an account, verifying an email, and installing the browser extension.
