As of August 31, the deadline for the “Update Constitutional Committee 2026” vote is September 1 at 21:44:51 UTC. Current participation shows Delegated Representatives (DReps) at 66.3%, just below the required 67% threshold, while Stake Pool Operators (SPOs) are at 39%, trailing the 51% requirement.

Failure to meet these thresholds would reduce the committee to three members, falling below the mandatory minimum of five. Such a vacancy would prevent the ratification of critical actions, including treasury withdrawals, parameter updates, and the initiation of hard forks, potentially delaying the Dijkstra era and Leios upgrades.
