In August, the MoBus network in Molins de Rei implemented temporary reduced schedules for the vacation month, moving to hourly service on lines MB1, MB2, and MB3. Concurrently, the Catalan Parliament amended inter-urban bus regulations, mandating that operators provide passenger assistance in Catalan and requiring staff to hold at least a B1 level in the language. The e3 line, which connects Barcelona, Cerdanyola del Vallès, and the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), is being expanded with 60 new daily trips. Additionally, the L76 line in Torrelles de Llobregat is being extended to improve access to the Hospital General de Sant Boi. The administration continues to address rail punctuality data discrepancies and work toward better intermodality between bus and train services.
