Catholic parishes in Croatia have announced various liturgical schedules, community events, and leadership changes. In late August 2026, parishes in Sinj and Osijek released schedules for upcoming masses, pilgrimages, and spiritual trips. In Osijek, Josip Vuksanović assumed the role of parish vicar, and the community prepared for upcoming masses and meetings following the start of the school year. Formal religious appointments were also announced in Petrinja and Karlovac, with Filip Šabalja succeeding Josip Samaržija in Petrinja and Danijel Hačko taking over for Duje Kurtović in Karlovac. By mid-September, new community and educational programs were introduced in Zagreb and Osijek. In Zagreb, the Holy Cross Parish, serving Siget and Trnsko, announced collections for Caritas, celebrations for the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, and a spiritual music concert by Stjepan Lacha. The parish is also accepting enrollments for First Communion and Confirmation classes until October 1. In Osijek, the St. Peter and Paul Parish scheduled meetings for pastoral and economic councils, as well as sessions for volunteers preparing for a family encounter. The parish is also organizing a meeting for religious educators and catechists to plan the semester and is coordinating a pilgrimage to Aljmaš. In late September, liturgical schedules for the Sinj and Cetina regions were released. A central celebration for the Archangels will be held in Trilj, led by Bishop Petar Palić. Furthermore, preparations are underway for the 800th anniversary of the death of St. Francis, which will feature a three-day spiritual program and a central Eucharistic celebration led by Bishop Marko Medo on October 4. By late September, additional regional activities were reported. In Gori, Mons. Paško Glasnović celebrated his 50th anniversary of priesthood and 75th birthday with a golden mass attended by Bishop Vlado Košić.
