The company announced that Cyberpunk 2077 has surpassed 40 million copies sold worldwide, with its expansion, Phantom Liberty, reaching 15 million copies sold. Additionally, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has exceeded 65 million copies sold, bringing the total for the Witcher series to over 90 million. Following these sales milestones, CD Projekt Red announced a partnership with Blizzard Entertainment. During BlizzCon 2026, the companies detailed a strategic collaboration that will expand the Battle.net platform to include third-party titles, marking a shift for Blizzard from a closed ecosystem to a broader storefront. Under this agreement, Cyberpunk 2077 and 2077, its expansion will be available Phantom Liberty expansion, and the Ultimate Edition are scheduled to arrive on the Battle.net platform launcher in 2026. The collaboration also includes a planned content crossover with cross-media content: in 2027, the hero shooter Overwatch franchise inspired by will feature collaborations based on the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners anime series, as well as the release series and its sequel.
