Following inspections by LaLiga technicians, the match has been rescheduled for Thursday, August 27, at 20:30. Celta de Vigo has apologized to fans and confirmed that all existing tickets remain valid. However, CA Osasuna has expressed “complete disagreement” with the new date. The Pamplona-based club argued that alternative dates, such as September 24 or 25, had been previously discussed during the international break, and claims they are the party “most disadvantaged” by the decision made by LaLiga and the RFEF. Osasuna has further criticized the unilateral scheduling, labeling it an “inadmissible lack of respect.” The club noted that the new date creates a congested fixture list, as they are already scheduled to play on August 24 and August 27.
