Regional baseball and softball competitions in Austria and Germany concluded with several championship results in October 2026. In Austria, the Kufstein Vikings II won the Tyrol Baseball League title following a tournament involving the Innsbruck Pioneers and Schwaz Tigers II. In Germany, the Bayerische Baseball Academy secured the 2. Baseball-Bundesliga Süd championship. After taking an initial 1-0 lead in the best-of-three series against the Füssen Royal Bavarians, the Academy won the deciding third game in Füssen with a score of 6:2 to take the series 2:1. Additionally, the Gammertingen Royals won the German Junior Softball Championship after defeating the Freising Grizzlies 8:4 in the final tournament held in Tübingen. Further youth championship results in Germany include the Freising Grizzlies U10 Coach Pitch team winning the Bavarian Championship. The team went undefeated during the 10-team tournament, defeating the Regensburg Legionnaires in the final. In youth softball, the Wesseling Vermins won the 2026 German Youth Softball Championship in Karlsruhe, securing the title with a 2-1 victory over the SG Karlsruhe Cougars/Stuttgart Reds after an undefeated group stage.
