To combat a rapid decline in water levels—which dropped approximately four centimeters in one week—authorities have ordered a reduction in water outflow from the lake into the Ager river to 4.5 cubic meters per second. This measure aims to slow the decline of the lake level while maintaining enough water to sustain life in the Ager river.
