CFL weekly player honors

Overview

The Canadian Football League (CFL) has announced its weekly player honors for Week 11 and Week 12.

For Week 11, the league recognized J. J. Ross of the Edmonton Elks for his defensive tackles and interceptions, quarterback Cody Fajardo for his passing efficiency, and BC Lions running back Zander Horvath for his rushing performance.

In Week 12, honors were awarded to Montreal Alouettes defensive back Kabion Ento, quarterback Davis Alexander, and BC Lions quarterback Nathan Rourke. Following his 355-yard, two-touchdown performance, Rourke noted he did not feel he played to his full capability, stating, ‘I don’t particularly feel like I played the way that I know I’m capable of playing,’ while attributing the victory to the team's defense.
