Chaco provincial sports infrastructure development

Overview

Governor Leandro Zdero has announced the commencement of construction for a new multi-sport complex, known as Playón Polideportivo, at the Physical Education Center (CEF) N° 8 in Quitilipi. The project includes 800 square meters of covered space with roofing, bleachers, lighting, and enclosures to facilitate sports during rainy weather. This initiative is part of the ‘Chaco Juega’ program, which aims to promote social sports and inclusion across 70 localities.

In addition to the Quitilipi project, provincial authorities visited the Center for Alternative Activities for People with Disabilities (CAAD) in Ushuaia. Minister of Citizen Welfare and Justice Lucía Rossi and Sports Secretary Mariano Vallaro observed daily workshops and professional support services. Discussions during the visit focused on strengthening collaboration between the provincial government and CAAD to develop new projects aimed at enhancing community inclusion and participation.
