Chicago Bears wide receiver Luther Burden III performance

Overview

Luther Burden III has become a key component of the Chicago Bears offensive strategy. During a Week 3 Monday Night Football game against the Philadelphia Eagles, Burden III scored an opening touchdown following a shovel pass from quarterback Case Keenum.

Following this performance, head coach Ben Johnson indicated plans to increase Burden III’s usage, citing his ability to handle the ball at all levels of the field. While Rome Odunze remains a primary engine for the team in terms of total routes run, Burden III has emerged as a significant efficiency factor, particularly in 11 personnel sets, ranking highly in yards per route run and targets per route run.
